anemone limit?

is there a such thing as an anemone limit in a tank? provided they get enough space, or is it also chemical? any info would be great

Lots of people say that you should only keep anemones in species tanks, and just one per tank (not even two of the same species)... I guess they eventually poison each other, even if it takes years.
