Anemone movement

Any tricks to moving an anemone? I have a couple very large BTAs in my one tank. I was thinking about offering one for the trade. However, I don't know how I can safely move him without harming his tissue. In the past, I've only removed those that were in the sand or on the glass. Anyone have any tips on removing one that is on liverock? I can't really find anything in my reef books that covers this topic.
Thanks

Anthony had mentioned holding an ice cube near its base. He also mentioned that if you had some time try to create a shadow over it. Place something next to it in the open that you don't mind it attaching to. Keep moving the piece creating the shadow and after a few days it will hopefully follow the light and be attached to whatever you placed in the open.

I have tried the icecube .. but got it to only work on large anemones. Got it where I was able to get it to lift a small part of its foot.. then get under it with your fingers and gradually ease it off the rock.

The other way that I have success is to change the water flow. often the anemones will move to try and adjust to the water flow. If you catch it while its moving you will be able to get under its foot and ease it off the rock.

good luck.

Thanks for the tips guys...I shall give them a try. It's a rather large anemone. Actually, it's pretty huge. Right now it's starting to bother my colt coral some, so I thought maybe I should look to clear it out before it gets any bigger (if that's possible.) I have one identical to it that is nestled next to my RBTA and they seem to be getting along well. I just figured maybe I'd limit myself to just one per kind in the tank. Plus, I'm sure someone else would love to have him, as he's a looker. :D
