Anemone n Leather

My anemone is sticking at the side of my Leather. Will it do any harm?

For what it's worth, my GBTA has been "touching" my large leather for about two months. So far nothing seems worse for wear. I was concerned "am still to some point" but the leather can't move and the anemone hasn't moved more than 3 inches in 6 months. As long as everybody is looking good I just keep an eye on them.
