anemone not opening fully after hosting

OK so my juvenile white striped maroon clownfish hosted my anemone lastnight and I was hoping when I came home that he would be fully open and I would see my clown in him, but that didnt happen. Instead my clown was still in there but the anemone didnt open up all the way, it was open a decent amount, but not to the usually size of a softball. He looks good no color change or anything, so is this going to last for a few days like this, or will he be like that forever where I cant see him anymore, which would be a shame.

What size is the anemone (( and what type )) -- "softball" size doesn't help, 16" or 12" ?

What size is the clown?

Maroons are known for being hard on anemones, and I like the anemone to be 3 times the size of the clown.

my maroon is only 1"-2" its a LTA and when its fully open I would say its 9-12" maybe bigger, just today he wasnt open all the way normally hes open in between two rocks is where he stuck, but today he just stayed behind the rock and was open but only about half way.
