You are not going to get the same "yes sir you are doing great" responses you got in the Newb forum. Here people are going to tell you the truth. I am setting up a new 120 with seasoned live rock (been in tanks for years), MH/VHO lighting, and years of experience. I will not add an anemone to this tank for atleast 3 months and that is only if my water paramaters are stable. The only reason I will add it that soon is so that it can find a suitable home before I add hundreds(thousands) of dollars worth of corals (and the thing still may move and sting them). I have had long term success with anemones ( had a rose 4 years until Katrina took it out, never split but was the size of a large dinnerplate -12" easy) and have no doubt I can take care of one. Take the advice of this forum, and not the newb forum, and find a new home for the anemone, and then get one when you have better lights, more experience, and a more stable tank. I have no doubt you will one day be able to house one of the creatures, it just takes time, and nothing can speed that up.
