Anemone purchasing help

I have been wanting to get a mated pair of percula clowns and an anemone for a while now. I have corals and do not want something that will kill them. But I'm a little confused about what I've been reading. Most anemones I've been looking at say that they are aggressive, and then say they are reef compatible, and then say they can sting corals. ***!!! Can anyone help me not be so confused anymore?

I have a BTA, although small, has not bothered my coralos one bit. I also have a sebae that a got a few days ago and i dont know how it will do. My advice is to go with a BTA first, as they are considered one of the "easiest" anemones to keep, but looking at what lighting you have, hailides may be too strong.
Heres a tip on buying an anemone- look for one with a closed mouth thats attached to a rock, and not wondering around. also, ask if it has been eating and if the anemone has a "stick" to it

If you choose to get an anemone make sure you can move your corals around to accomodate the anemone when he decides to settle in. Many people successfully keep anemones with corals. The anemone can and will move. They also can and will kill corals they come into contact with when they do move. Most often they do not hunt down other corals though that has been reported at times.

Also, they can excrete chemicals that are detrimental to other stinging creatures. If you notice that your corals or anemone is not looking well you should start running carbon. I would recommend running carbon for the first couple months that the anemone is in the tank so you'l know if they are all doing well in general.

My tank is only 55g and I'm running out of room with the corals. Maybe I should just scrap the idea if it's going to be a problem. Altho I don't have any coral in my sand bed just clams. Maybe I could get one that prefers a sandy substrate.
