anemone question

LornaS

livin on the salty side
okay I just got a gbta and I placed it in the spot where I thought it would be good. The anemone promptly settled in BUT he sunk his foot deep into a rock and is facing the back of the tank. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get him out and turned around facing the front??????
The spot he is in makes it virtually impossible to feed him there......

its best not to try and move it as it might get damaged . give it time and it will get used to your system and hopefully show its self enough to try and feed it.they will go to wherever they want so its best to let it and watch your powerheads if you have them. here a link to a great site that may help you.

Lorna, you can point a powerhead at it to get it to turn around, but most tend to turn on there own, pointing towards the front.
So give it time and shoot some mysis back to it with a syringe if you have to in order to keep it feed until it decides to come forward.
Pase. Thanks for posting my site, the new address is
www.karensroseanemones.com
its just a new name, not a new site.

Thanks for the words of wisdom and encouragement, I went to your site Karen and found lots of information that is very helpful. I covered my powerheads as best as possible. I did point the power head at it yesterday when I could keep my eye on it but no luck all it did was blow sand everywhere and undermine my rockwork. I am hoping it will poke it's head back this way through the hole that he went to the back from.......
