Anemone rescue

I rescued these two from my LFS:

I got these two at the same LFS, from the same tank, about 6 inches from each other. The one on the left seems a bit more lifeless than the one on the right. Both were conditioned the same way on the same temperature etc... Currently they are both sitting on coraline live rock. The one on the left has a red foot and the one on the right has a white foot.

The one on the left, this AM (before the lights came on), looked full life like the one on the right does now. The one on the right, this AM, was in a ball.

Ideas?

Any idea they types?

Yeah I can get better pixs, but I leave for OBX Thursday :lol2:

I am worried the one on the left is really stressed. The light cycle is:
10am ON with a panaorama fixture at max. (just turned it back to 50%) for when I leave. At 10pm same fixture but just the blues running at like 10%.

Just make sure to get any dead ones out of the tank. LOL

Yeah but I dont think he is dead... I think he is just stressed right now.

You've had them how long? It's been like this how long?

Had them since sunday. The one on the left was open and closed mouth during travel and aclimation. I think it might be light... hummm... But he/she is still in shock probably.

I would put a lot of money on them both being LTAs, or Macrodactyla Doreensis. The one on the right looks it, and the flow on the left is too high, but the red foot sound right.

You have 2 anemones that are severely bleached, and as a result should be acclimated very slowly to your lighting. I would change the light cycle, or even better, put 3 or more layers of window screen over where they are to block the light.

Also, LTAs are sand anemones. They will only be happy when they are buried in at least 3 inches of sand.

Yeah... That is where they were... BUT... I have FINE sand.. and they were bouncing everywhere... hahaha

Ill move them when I get home today.

Their light at the LFS was FULL under MH.

How do I massage them again to make them close up??
