Im sad to say that my RBTA got shredded overnight. I didn't find the body tentacles or anything but he is no longer in the tank. When I woke up my tank was really cloudy. I looked all over for it but there looks to be some jelly bodily like stuff on my Koralia.

I feel terrible. I don't know what to do... I was not able to do a WC on my 40gallon till now that I just got home. I'm mixing the water now. What other things do I need to do to make sure there are no adverse effects on my tank? I'm really bummed out :sad2:

However, the 3 fish in there still seem to be very happy.

Water change and run carbon is all you can do.

How can I run carbon without a sump? I only have the LR as filtration plus the skimmer which is a Remora Pro. Do I just put carbon in a filter sock and in the box that covers the Rio pump?

I hade a situation like this before. I dropped a small pump in the tank and ran a media reactor with carbon in it for about 2 weeks.

You don't need a sump in order to run carbon.
The best way to run carbon is through a reactor or canister filter.

Ok what percentage of WC and how often would be best for the tank?

Is it a must to add some sort of carbon filtration or can I just do water changes every other day?
