Anemone stuck in filter pipe intake

Need advice, last night, my anemone was floating around and then settled on the glass near the intake pipe of my filter. I thought it was alright. This morning, I found it stuck in the intake and looks real bad. I can't pull it out without doing more damage. Any advice would be appreciated.

Sorry to see that, nice looking nem. Had it been moving a lot or just start?

I believe the thing to do at this point is leave the pump off and let the anemone remove itself from the intake. Might take a while but that would keep additional damage to a minimum. Looks like it's mostly intact though, hopefully it'll make a comeback.

How is she doing? My 'nem got loose and ended up in my gyre yesterday. Thankfully, I have a spare set of rotors to put on. I've ordered the foam covers.

Bummer, turn the pump off. Take them both out in a bucket and try to pull her out really carefully. Take your time so she doesn't get injured more. You might get lucky and she will fully recover. Had it happen to mine years ago and still going strong. Good luck!
