Anemone Tank maturity?

I'm looking to add a anemone to my 75 gallon tank some time in the future, currently my tank has been up for about a month and currently has a foxface, Kole tang, and watchman goby. I will want to add an anemone to my tank eventually, and need to know how long i should wait. I've heard, 3 months, 6 months and a year. I will probably buy a clown and anemone together. Also, i need to know what type of lighting i need, it's currently running SolarMaxHE. It's pretty small, but like i said it's only a FOWLR currently.

Im not sure about the type of lighting you have, but it is generally recommended that you wait 6 months before getting an anemone. This will give you time for your tank to stabilize.

What species do you plan on keeping? Different species have different requirements with regards to lighting, flow, etc.

i would say a better thing to say is when your params are stabile not really a time limit.
I have set up some tanks which stabilize in a few weeks others take months.

once you have these params stable you can add a nem (if lighting etc is sufficient for the speices)

ammonia - 0
nitrite - 0
nitrate <20
phosphate < 0.2 (hana) if using a titration kit (eg salifer) it should read 0.1 or lower
cal 380-480
alk 7-9

Check these and then you will know when to add instead of risking just on a time line
