Anemone vs. Koralia

I was planning on adding 2 koralia #2 pumps to my 55 when we upgrade. Also putting in the #1 I have.

Recently I have read about anemones getting caught in koralia pumps.

Is this something that happens with all sizes of the pump, or are we talking #3 and #4? Right now, I have a #1 right next to my Sebae. Haven't had a problem yet, but want to prevent one in the future.

I have never seen any of these pumps in person so I do not know if the slots get larger the bigger the pump is. Does anyone know?

If #1 and #2 are problems as well, what can I do to prevent a mishap?

Granted I have 120, but the BTA & Sebae get along with several large duncans, frogspawn, and hammer heads with four koralia 3s.

I am pushing a good flow to both BTA & Sebae and have not moved much from when I added them to the tank.

Sebae is larger than a dinner plate!
Eats a ton if clown #1 or #2 don’t steal it first.

BTA is on the right middle with the Sebae in the front left.

Use flow to keep them happy and staying put.
I had a few extra rocks around them initially to keep them in place as well.

Thanks. Mine hasn't moved touched the koralia yet, but it close too it as he is in the top 1/3rd of the tank and so is the koralia. Mine isn't as high as yours. Can't wait to upgrade and move him to a bigger tank. Mine is about as big as yours in a 29 gallon. He only eats a small chunck of shrimp a week. He does get a very small amount during the week. Whatever floats his way that the clowns don't eat.

So I won't worry then and will get 2 koralia #2's for my 55. Thanks.

once settled in sebae's don't really move much and generally stick to the sand sand/coral interface. not that it couldn't happen but i've 2 uncovered k3's with my sebae and don't think about it.
i would however not trust a bta with them. even if it doesn't venture off the rocks - still a good chance the clones will.
you can get plastic egg shaped needlepoint canvas. two part's which will fit over the k2,k3 and k4. they also make a globe which you can mix and match with the egg to further customize the fit.
