What is the safest way to get an anemone off of live rock ?

redirect the flow to it. It will eventually get ticked off enough to move. some say to use a finger or card of some sort and slip it under the foot.

RO/DI ice cube on the foot. You can use the power head but you may not be around when it finally moves.
