Yep - I wish all my anemones stayed where I want them instead of crawling to some crevice in the back. I bought a Japanese Chocolate anemone a few years back. Just a little nub, he immediately went the the back. Maybe one day I will actually see him
from my experience they do well if you provide a area for foot protection, such as a rock with crevice to fit its foot in or an overhang in the rock where it can feel safe and retreated in.
I have kept 2 anemones in these areas from the get go and they have never moved. I also tend to spot feed it in the beginning when they are in the spot you want.
