I do not have any experience with them; however, I was reading they will steal anemones from other pom pom crabs and propagate the anemones themselves by ripping them apart.
Maybe find another pom pom crab that has both anemones and see if they'll make some more?

Just go's to show you, you can't judge a book by it cover, they dont look like thiefs. Im assuming they specialise in a certain species of animone. There not going to peel off a aiptasia and play Johnny Apple seed are they?

They will steal them from other crabs but without the presence of another crab that is not an option. If it still has one your good to go! They will in fact propogate the anemones by splitting them themselves with thier claws.l. Ive seen it happen in the store. (Well there was a crab that had one and a few days later he had two that were noticeably smaller)
