Anemones hiding

So on Sunday I brought home two anemones that came on a rock with zoas and a fungia. (Had to take two bc they were both stuck on the zoa Rock)The fungia is doing well but the zoas are hardly opening and my anemones have crawled in the rocks. Water parameters appear to be great so I'm not sure why these are hiding and the zoas aren't opening well. It's a 12g nano wth stock LEDs, three fish, two shrooms and an acon.

it is your lights, did you dim them when you put them in?

I can't dim them, it's either off or on. Should I open the canopy for a day or so?

well first anemones really are like the uber hitchhiker, if they do not like a spot they start moving around till they are happy. sometimes they disappear and then show up for no reason at all.
you can try to find them and gently get them to let go and move them but they may just move again. try to feed them after a move and that might get them to stay in the new spot to get more food.

zoa and other buttons may take a couple of days after a move to fully open and get happy, how long since you got them ?

Update, my nems are doing great. I had a salinity issue. Once that was fixed they came right out.

This is my little 12g. Waiting for lighting upgrade on my "new to me" 120g so they can be moved here

Sweet, ya those maroons are gonna rule the roost in that 12 but will do the same in the 120. Beautiful fish just wish they weren't as aggressive as they are.

the one anemone on the left looks really bleached or maybe its just the picture, the one on the right looks fine though

No it's bleached but color on the tips has been coming back and its eating again.

The maroons are the only fish in that tank and and they are really small. The big tank has two clowns in it already, a large black n white one and a percula. Haven't decided what to do with them yet as I doubt they'll all get along.

The maroons will get big they are one of the biggest of clowns and one of the if not the most aggressive of all of them. That 12 gal is way too small for them, you may want to consider getting them a new home or a much larger tank if you are going to keep them. The maroons will end up killing the other two.

I won't keep them in the 12 permanently. I'll either rehome them or the other two. I had planned on getting an empty 120 but this one ended up coming with the two clowns already. Really love my maroons tho.

The 12g is coming down as soon as I get new lights for the 120.
