Anemones look better later in the evening

Does anyone else's nems look better/happier when their lights begin to dim down towards night? My nems seem to fill out and look more shaggy when my lights dim. Perhaps too much light for them in the day?
My lights are 2x160w razors and the anemones are both gigs that have recently undergone ciprofloxacin treatment and are bleached.
Thanks in advance,
James

I watched mine when the sun went down (about 11p here in the tank) and while it started to go down it did grow and fill out some. It is like it is soaking up the final rays and getting ready to find some food that is floating down to the bottom to sleep.

When I come out of 3 days of lights off and I am in a lowered % I do notice it stretching some.

Now this is different than not enough light times.

My anemone is pretty new to me. It's a Sherman RBTA that I got 5 or 6 days ago. Since day 1, it has been walking to the back of the rocks, hiding at the bottom facing the back glass, shrinking down to about 2". This is only when the lights go out, and then right when they come on, it will take about 3 or 4 hours and it'll wander back in front facing upward toward the light and expand to about 8" and get full bubble tips. Then when the lights go out, it pulls back behind the rocks. Is that odd?

Protecting it's self and digesting normally.

If you go to my build thread you will see a Ritteri and it used to ball up at night. Now it stays out. It is over 18 inches though.

When the light comes on it slowly expands.

My newer rbta does the hiding game and balls up in a ball when it goes dark.

Anybody else have clowns that seem to bother the mouthed their nems, especially when they're trying to feed? My onyx clowns seem to nip the food away from the nem and bother it's mouth,.

mine are most expanded in the middle of the day when the sunlight coming in the solar tubes is at its brightest.

i hate it when the clowns do that to the mouth, always makes me nervous.

This video here shows them picking on the mouth.

They are actually helping it... humm... Poo....

Later, not in the video, they grab what is coming out swim it over to the side and drop it off, and come back for more.

Glad it's not just my nem that clowns seem to do this to. I was worried it was a sign of poor health. I find it especially annoying as my nems are recovering and the clowns don't seem to be helping the mouths stay closed.

I blame my clarkii clown for my new rbta roaming around so much. Anyone ever seen a cat roll around on a pile of clean laundry right out of the dryer? That's what my clown looks like with my rbta
