Anemones shrivilled into little discs

Had 2 BTAs, 18 months ago they split into 5, happy as can be, hosting clowns.

6 months ago they went on strike. Won't eat. Disappear under rock. Bleached out. Nitrate used to be a little high (30-40), now down to almost undetectable, but they are still ****ed off. Can only find 2 of them. Shriveled and unhappy. Moved one to the sump, no change.

Thoughts? Water parameters are fine at present. My hammer corals and frogspawn are going insane, happy as can be, sprouting heads left and right.

Lighting, dosing, feeding, parameters exactly? Lots of unanswered questions before we can give help. If fluorescents, age of bulbs as well?

My BTAs are not happy when I stop running carbon from my cannister filter. You can try running carbon.
