hey i got realy good looking tomato clow and i wont to get him a good looking Anemone what is a good wont to have for him.

i have had Anemones so i do know what to do with them just do not know whats a good for for this fish

Tomatoes naturally host in BTA's but mine has taken to a LTA for the past 12 years. Sometimes it takes a while for them to host, so be patient if you notice the clown hasn't taken to the anemone right away. I would go with a captive BTA, I really dont agree with wild caught anemones...

Good Luck..

I saw some nice LTAs at Ocean Blue the other day. Also make sure you have good lighting and be prepared to feed krill and silversides every 3 days or so. Another thing you want the anemone to be 2-3xs larger than the hosting clown. Happy reefing.

Theres some debate on feeding. My LTA, 13 years in my care, rarely takes any food I give him. But lighting, no one will argue needing proper lighting...

There are arguments over best lighting for a BTA, though. I would never recommend this, but a lot of people swear that PC is good for BTA's. People I know have kept them under pc for 5 years and they are doing great. A lot of people say that MH is too much for their BTA. I'm going to do a test with one of mine, as it has split a few times and see which lighting conditions(bear in mind, a lot of water differences between the tanks, also which would skew any true testing) they do best in. Might take a while to get running, because I have to wait for the BTA clone to move onto the glass or be moving its foot to get it detached
