Anemones????

I am looking to buy an anemone for my 30g biocube. I've had my tank for about a month now. What type of anemone would be best for my 30g? What and how often do I feed the anemone? Also, I was thinking about getting a BTA. How many watts per gallon do I need? I have about 3wpg now.
Any answers would be appreciated. I have 2 clowns that my dad bought for me yesterday, and I'm looking for an anemone home for them. (They are regular clowns).

Thanks,
Alex

u should wait until ur tank is at least 6 months old befor adding a nem. ur tank is still young and going through cycles that ur test cant detect.

I agree with Reef2. You should wait at least 6 months before adding an Anemone. I think a BTA will work for you when the time is right. Watts per gallon is not relevant IMO. Some lights are much more efficient then others. You have plenty of time to figure it out :)

With a Standard 30 gallon tank I would go with T-5 lighting.
If your using a canopy I would use a retro kit and if your not using a canopy then I would go with something like is displayed on this link:

hi alex and welcome to reefcentral..
i got my Anemone when my thank was 3 week old and that was 3 months ago and the Anemone still doing very good and has grown a lot.
and of course hosting my pair of clown fish, actually i dont feed my Anemone my clown fish feed it, is fun watching the female and male swimming with a mouthful and then go where the Anemone is and put the food right on the Anemone mouth.
but is up to you if u want to get it.
that was what everybody told me when i ask, i said to myself 6 months is way too long.
and plus i just paid 14 dollars for it at my lfs, i will try to take some pics to post ;)
my Anemone is the long brown tentacles with pink spots at the ends.
i might get some bad comments about this.

i would suggest starting with a BTA that is a clone from a local reefers tank, they are very poor shippers and need lots of TLC when they come in bleached and starving.

i also agree that waiting 4-6 months is a good idea.
