i have a 12g nano tank with a 70watt mh on it and what i wanted to know can i safely put an anemones in a tank this small yes or no:confused:

I would say yes to a BTA; it may eventually outgrow it, but it should be fine for a while. As long as you keep the tank stable, it should be fine. Some may say the tank is too small though.... I don't think so though..

ide say a BTA may be ok. Just with a tank that small it is hard to keep water parameters in check. Also water evaporates and causes the level of the tank to fluctuate a lot in small tanks...which also causes the salinity to fluctuate which anemones do not like

IMO, a 12 gallon is too small for any hosting anemone. Besides the difficultly of keeping the parameters stable in such a small tank, any hosting anemone will outgrow it --- even a BTA. The last BTA that I had was over 15" across when I sold it.
