Anenome help

My Anenome has been looking kind of funny these last couple of days. Sometimes he opens but not fully and it looks like something brown like a string is coming out the middle of him l. Here's a picture. Can anyone help is he ok or is he In trouble.

Its hard to tell from the picture but it sounds like he is releasing waste. My would always shrink up before releasing a brown stingy waste (poop)
