anenome id

As for the emperor, try unplugging/replugging it in a couple times, we had one we got working by doing this.

Thanks to Photoshop, I got the picture a little bigger, so maybe you guys will have a better time ID'ing it.

Agreed, It definitly is a Majano. They don't always have to have bubble tips, just like the Bubble Tip Anemone. Just like in the Carpet Anemone thread, you and bluecarpet need to realize that there are variations in this hobby and not every single specimen in a particular species of livestock is going to look exactly alike.

Wow, I was mislead to think that Majano anemones had bulbed tips. I guess I learned something today. :)

However, the Haddoni thread by Flasher1 was a completely differenet story. It's one thing to miss ID a Majano anemone but another thing to sell a bleached anemone and try and say its not. On reefcentral, if someone disagrees with you, you better have support to back up your argument. I was the only one on that thread that acutally gave reference to anything. You're wrong, that Haddoni was bleached.

Your only evidence was that it looked kinda like the color of the sand....which both owners of these anemones stated that they couldn't get anywhere near the true color in the pics. Come take a look at one of these and tell me they're bleached. I think you will change your mind.

And I do have support on these anemones. Everyone else on that thread has seen these anemones and backs me up that they are not bleached and have some really great color. Only you and blue carpet are saying anything negative about them. The people that have seen them, know they are nice and not bleached out. So please, for everyone's sake, keep your negative opinions about other people's stuff to yourself unless you are trying to be helpful. If you have useful advice, I and everyone on this forum are happy to hear it. We all, including me, have and still do learn new things on this forum and appreciate all good advice, but don't need the negativity toward each others tanks.

What am I saying negative? All I said was they were bleached which brought me to say a couple of other of comments. Reefworkchris, if members post pictures of their carpet anemones and is asking for advice then they are going to get it. If they don't like what they hear then don't post. Simple as that.

Done with this thread

Nowhere in that post did anyone ask for advice. He was simply showing others the new anemone that he bought and 2 months later bluecarpet brought it back to the top to critcize it's color, which you jumped on board with.

btw the way my anemone does have kind of bubble tips..also lifeswork came over this week and also told me it looks like majano.but he also told me to post a pic because could of been wrong.thanks for the info.ill get rid of it and stop feedinf it and maybe know i'll have room for that carpet u got chris.lol
