Angel fish has cloudy eyes

I picked up a juvi queesn angel about 2 weeks ago. everything was fine with it, besides a little bit of harrasment from my tang and tomato clown, no obvious attacks or injury since i put him..other than a bit of fin nipping. Today i noticed he has cloudy eyes, and my gf said she noticed the same thing last night.
What could be causing this? Other than being cloudy the eyes look normal.
He has pretty much been hiding in the rocks all day. Normally he is swimming around nipping at algae and sponges in the tank. He hasnt eaten any other food that i have put in the tank so far.( algae sheets, mysis shrimp, plankton, veggie flakes , and spectrum pellets.)
I added a 6 line wrasse a few days ago and he is great. all other fish and inverts seem normal. and my corals seem fairly content.

H20 parameters are normal except for a little bit of high nitrates. 80 ppm ish..

Any thoughts ?

If both eyes are cloudy, that can be a symptom of either flukes or bacterial infection.

I agree. flukes can be confirmed with a fresh water dip.

Do freshwater dip, I saw LAfish guy using this method and once you do freshwater dip you will see them coming off....

Were all of these fish in a QT or the main? If the angel was with other fish they all need to be treated.

they are all in the main. don't want to get ahead of myself, not sure its flukes yet.

This morning when i checked the tank I found the angel fish had died. When i found him is was stuck under a rock , when i pulled him out his eyes were missing. Is this relevant to the fact that the had cloudy eyes before he died?

Do a fresh water dip on the dead fish and see if anything falls off. this way you'll know if you are dealing with flukes or something else.

OK so tonight my tang is acting like he is trying to scratch himself on the rocks from time to time. its like a twisting/shake motion. should i set up a fw dip tank for my fish and just dip them all to be safe ? If so how long should i do the dip for. all the fish or just the tang. will i need to do multiple dips or just one ? ect..

That is correct. Confirm with fresh water dip first.

sounds like these fish werent quarantined! fw dips is only a temporary relief as the parasites are still in the tank. I qt all angels with prazi and cuppramine. Angels are notorious for carrying flukes!

I got prazi on the way. Set up a fw dip tank, trying to decide if i should go ahead ad dip them or wait for the prazi to come. When doing a fw dip i heard that the the temp and ph need to be as close to the tanks as possible. I have also heard that the ph isnt that important to match. which one is true and if i need to raise my ph in th fw dip tank what is a easy way to do that . i dont have any kalkwasser.

Well, you need to confirm flukes with a fresh water dip. Figuring out what you are dealing with is very important. While a fresh water dip provides relief, it does not totally fix the problem.
