angel fish

I have had a flame angel for a while now. Tonight I introduced a coral beauty angel fish. The flame angel is chasing the coal beauty all over the place. I'm worried the coral beauty might not make it through the night. Are the two fish compatible? My tank size is 165 gallons.

if by tomorrow the flame doesn't stop you have to remove one of them i introduced both the flame & coral beauty into my 300 at the same time 5 months ago & the flame still chases the coral beauty around but i have a ton of rock i hope your coral beauty makes it good luck

keep lights off a few days...rearrange the lr...try putting a mirror against the tank so the flame hopefully focuses on that...or pull the flame and put in sump/fuge/qt if you have and add it back in a few weeks...egg crate can be used to seperate the two if you do not have any of the above...good luck!

thank you so much for the great replies.

So this morning the tables have turned and it seems the coral beauty is going after the flame angel. they will interact at times briefly enough to get my hopes up that they'll get along and then they're back at it.

feed them more, and feed them nori more.

they will calm down.

good for the cb..just keep your eye on them, esp the flame...and please post pics when you can..love seeing the fish we keep! good luck!
