Angel/Tang Compatibilities and Order of Addition

Hi everyone. I've been lurking in the shadows reading for awhile and am working on restocking my 125g tank. It's your standard 6' length. This will be a mixed reef and I am well aware of and ready to take on nipping risks. I know the species I want, for the most part, but now I'm stuck on order of addition and a couple of compatibility questions I haven't been able to find answers for.

My angel and tang list is Potter's, Nox, Hippo (still in the air, not sure about long-term size and the ability to upgrade to suit it), Chocolate Tang, and a Three Spot Angel. The Potter's and Nox will be added at the same time for certain. Where I'm concerned is the order of the these fish and possibly aggression between the chocolate tang and the three spot angel. I am worried that the yellow color of the angel may earn aggression from the chocolate, with it thinking that the angel is a younger specimen of the tang species. Is this much of an actual risk?

If there are any fish you don't find suitable here (mainly questioning the hippo on size and the three spot on general difficulty/rarity) what would you recommend as alternatives? I'm trying to do three larger fish that will be open-water swimmers and give me a variety of color without too much of a hostile environment. If you see any issues with my other fish, please feel free to comment and advise me.

3-4 Neon Gobies
2 Saddleback Clowns
2 Pyle's Fairies (m/f pair)
1 Lubbock's Fairy
1 Leopard or Pearly Weed Wrasse
4 Lyretail Anthias (1 m/3 f)

Thanks!

I honestly dont know much about those specific fishes...but I have just about finished stocking my 175 (also 6' long).
All I know to be true is traditionally you will want to stock tangs after angels. Let the angels settle first as an established tang will most likely challenge any new fish. If there was any exception to this rule it might be a Hippo.

Here is the order I stocked mine in.

The coral beauty was not in my original plan...a local guy as selling him and i could not resist. A bit of a risk with the established tangs. The first couple of days were tough...but all is well now.

1. Watchman Gobie, Lawnmower blenny
2. Copperband Butterfly
2. 6 line wrasse, Banjai Cardinal
3. Hippo Tang, Yellow Tang
4. Blonde Naso Tang
5. Coral Beauty
6. Powder Blue Tang

Yeah, yeah...I am sure the Tang Police will pull me over here. But it is a very harmonious tank.

Good luck with your stocking!!!

Thanks for the input. I'm actually thinking of scrapping the hippo and trimac and going with a bellus pair. A very good LFS in my area has a pair in. I'd never really liked the male of the species until I saw the gorgeous one they had in today. My tank needs some aging and I don't have the $300 to drop on them right now so no worries, no impulse buys. Is my tank suitable for a pair of these fish in a long-term scenario? Any compatibility issues? And finally, I'm thinking they could come after the dwarf angels and before the chocolate tang.

The G. bellus & Potter's should come before the tangs, IMO. Usually, you add the most aggressive fish LAST. I think that would be the tangs in this scheme..
