I'm housing a friends blue angel while he is moving. It is the sole fish in a 150 with some stars and urchins. I figured it would be perfectly safe since it is all by itself. Apparently it thought one of the urchins looked tasty and paid the price for indulging. It's eating myisd and seems fine other than the spine sticking through its lip. Should I be concerned and is there anything I should do?

Aside from the spine issue, that fish is not a pure-bred. Its a Townsend's Angle. That is an H.bermudensis X H. cilaris half-breed. Not a bad looking one, either, but not quite a full Queen Angel in coloration, other than the ocellus on the head..

sincerely,
Matthew

Thanks, didn't know that. Not sure how the owner is going to feel though. Is there a big price difference?
