I was wondering if all the medium to large angels are all aggressive? I'm looking for 2 more fish to add to my 220 but not sure what to add. so far im looking at yellow tangs, blue or naso tang, flame angel, and poss. a grouper-blue line. I have to stock my tank (around)my prize fish my brownbanded bamboo shark,he or she is 9''. I also have a sailfin tang, 2 sabae clowns, and a ****** trigger. If anyone can think of something that would be a good choice please let me know,I am tring to stay away from eel due to waste and eating habits, which is why i prob. wont go with a grouper also. Thanks for ur time and advise....

Tangs, angelfish, and some triggers are all known to harass sharks from time to time. They are all substrate grazers and some will ocassionally graze on the shark when it is sitting still. These little bites can open up to secondary bacterial infections. Better tankmates would be squirrelfish, soldierfish, eels, goatfish, and groupers.

If you don't already have it, I would consider getting a copy of Scott Michael's Sharks & Rays. It is excellent!
