ok so i have a 12 gal nanocube deluxe and im havin a hard time deciding what to put in. can i put in a small angler and if so what type? all comments are appreciated. thanks.

A species from the Antennarius genus should do well in your tank.
Most grow to about 4-5''s and remain quite still for the majority of the day.
Use a very fine sand as substrate and just a few pieces of LR (less than a 5th of the tank volume) with some macroalgae to complete a very nice habitat.
