Animal Specialities

I'm thinking about heading up to Williamsport this weekend to check out the fish/coral selection. Anyone have any feedback on this place?

Would I be ok with just a Styrofoam container for a 90 min trip?

You can't beat some of their dry goods prices, like on salt especially if it's on sale. It's also nice to get frozen food and basic stuff like snails shrimp and urchins without paying shipping!

I've had good luck with corals from TFP, they usually have a pretty good selection of LPS (hammers, bubble, brains). Not a lot of good acros, they just don't have the lighting to support it. Their prices are not bad, and you can see what you are getting. I've had OK luck with their fish, although I think you need to be picky and I know a couple of people who have had bad luck. They always have some fish that look pretty bad as well as some that look fine.

If you do go, leave a couple of hours to walk around. I can never get out of there quickly.

i was just down at tfp a couple weeks ago. Picked up a pipefish for the sps tank. WOuld have gotten a few sps but the acros were all covered in red bugs....

definitly steer clear of animal specialties as they are lacking alot and refuses to give a trades for corals they have never even had
