it can i think, but u have it @ bottom. maybe cut down on photoperiod. how many hours is the GBTA under MH a day? i bought my RBTA from a tank lit by week NO flurescents, moved to my tank w/ 500W MH and VHO's, i cut MH back to 3 hrs/day and slowly worked back up to 6.5. i left VHO's on full photoperiod. i also covered tank w/ eggcrate too for about 2 weeks. try that. good luck.

9 hour photo period 1 250 on for 1 hour both for 7 then 1 for 1hour i also wonder if not enough light. it seems very sluggish with tenticals in responce to things, i used a turkey baster to feed him 1/4 in chunk off silverside he would not take it but he also didn't back away like he used to when first touched

not sure, maybe someone w/ more anenome experience will chime in. did u acclimate to your lights? how long have u had it? all parameters on point and stable? when did it start acting like this?

i put anenome on bottom of tank under an overhang, started with a 4 hour photo period and have brought it up over a week or so. perameters seem ok some nitrates but it is new tank.
