Annoying problem with softies

Hi. Hopefully somebody can help shed some light on this annoying problem...

We have 2 Devils hand corals. Had them for over 6 months and they were fine until we bought the Lumen Air. They're now not opening at all. We've experimented with different lighting/flow positions to to avail. The one in the first pic seems to always be shedding. Have tried helping it but removing the film but that doesn't work either. The second was about 5 inches first, now is around 1.

We bought another 2 weeks ago (pic 3) and it hasn't opened yet. It seems to be discolouring too.

All of our other corals are happy. We have a cabbage too which is thriving.

Any ideas on what it could be? Been thinking of propagating to see if the frags do any better - just out of interest really.

What is your alkalinity at? Does it remain stable, or is it bouncing around from day to day? Are you running any carbon? This might help. Also, these corals tend to prefer a lot of chaotic flow IME. You might want to add another power head or just try repositioning the ones you already have. GL.

yea plus leathers.. tend to do this from time to time ...mine does it all the time...and stays closed for a while too...good flow would help too.......parameters??

Parameters are all spot on and we have 2 power heads. Grrrr. Maybe they're just annoying little so and so's! Definitely not dying.

Thanks for your help anyway
