Just picked this bad boy up, please excuse the bad pic, the camera is not liking the 14k. I'm thinking enchinata, but I'm really haven't been into LPS, and never had any acans prior to this one, so I'm going off "the books". If you guys need a better photo, let me know. BTW, he's been in the tank for about 20 minutes.

I'd say it's Subechinata.

BTW, the doubt the books called it enchinata. You mean Echinata.

Could be that too.

That said, it's a pretty cool coral albiet not super inflated at this time. Are Subechinata less common than echinatas? I honestly have zero knowledge of Acanthastrea. When I saw it at the store I called it a mussid!!!!!!11

I'll try to get some more pics tommorow. I'm sure he didn't like getting blasted by the 250 watters at the LFS!!!! That much I do know.
