i have been reading about injecting them with lime juice or burning them off so here is my questions.

if i wanted to try lime juice is it a bad think to take the rock out of the tank then inject it and put it back into the tank. or take the rock out and blow touch the peice in just the one area and then put it back into the tank.

i dont have as much live rock as i would like so i dont want to take a whole peice out of the tank for any amount of time

I use an equal mixer of kalkwasser powder and water from my tank and make a paste. Then take a 5 mL syringe like you use in test kits and spray it right in front of them. The calcium dissolves them. You have to make sure you don't have any pumps running. If you just have the rock with no attached coral you can use coral dip and R.O. to get rid of them. You dip the rock in R.O. for 10-15 Minutes then follow the directions on the coral dip and it gets rid of any pests. Just make sure that if you do use kalkwasser not to break them apart with the syringe by pressing on them because the little pieces will float to a new location and multiply, just get close enough that you will hit it. Also, don't do it directly next to any corals, it will kill them as well if they are in the direct path of the injection.
