Another Avenue for Store Info?

I just saw the Pcp thread and im sure the mods may not like this one but it really has nothing to do with RC. Has anyone discussed an alternative way to get info out? Something not at all affiliated with RC? Do we have an OMS website/forums?


(Not trying to start problems with RC as I love the community, however I totally disagree with this decision. But I do understand who pays the bills. )

The Omaha Marine Society website appears to be new and updated. There is a forum on it as well, however, I don't know if it is ready to go yet or not since there hasn't been any announcements or anything like that yet.
I would imagine once it is fully running, it will be our main source for local info, including info from the local stores.

It will be. Were hoping for end of this week unless our web guy says otherwise. All I was made aware of at our officers meeting was that as of Saturday it was 98% complete.

Just checked the website and looks great. I will start checking it regularly. no big deal, but the membership section is in french or something.

Yeah, it looks like there is some filler text on a lot of the pages. Otherwise, yes it looks greats and I think it will be a great resource.
