Earlier today, I posted about my percula hanging out in my clam.
I took my perculas out of the tank and gave my clam a freshwater dip. I just now went to check on my clam, lights have been off for an hour or so. Aimed my flashlight at my clams intake and saw a shadow move inside. After a few minutes of closer inspection, I can see a small opaque shrimp in my clam. The shrimp's body is about half an inch long, including the 2 long arms like a coral banded but straight. No colors visible.
Is this shrimp a parasite to my clam or is this some kind of natural partnership.
I have never seen this kind of shrimp before, so I'm thinking it may well have been in the clam when I received it.
Didn't realize there was that much traffic inside my clam before today.
Anybody???????
