I'm just throwing this out there. I would like to beef up my clean up crew and maybe get a few drygoods as well. I thought I'd check on interest. I can probably hold out till just before the meeting if that is preferred.

I want to place 2 orders, but I have to wait til the federal taxes get here.
When that time arrives, I want to order from foster and smith, and liveaquaria. But, I might wait till the frag swap for the liveaquaria...

I would not have any problem ordering from Sealife again there prices are the best I have found. I would be in on it I want to get about 100 or so more snails/crabs

Hmm, if we are waiting a bit I would go in for Sealife, I need me some blue rics...and green....and pink. Maybe all colors. :lol:

I am going to make an order from yourreef.com here shortly if any one wants in. I am going to pick up about 100 frags of sps. I would say in around a month or so. I should have the tank up and running by the end of this weekend.

Have you or anybody else you know had experience with this place?? I may be interested in joining you. But if you are picking up 100 frags, you won't need me to offset shipping. If anything, I'll need you.
MN, would you be interested in buying some colonies and splitting them with me?? A friend of mine and I used to do that. The colonies, at that time, were $70 and we sould split them down the middle @ $35 each. Go 4 ways and it really gets interesting. Besides my single source, do you know of any places that sell colonies??

There is no shipping on orders over 175. I bought 20 frags from him for like 200 dollars and every single one was alive, no red bug, or anything wrong with them. they started encrusting over my frag glues in less than a week. Actually he sent me 25 frags to be nice. He was like i hope you give me your buiseness again. I would rather stick with frags with this guy, they are pretty much free they are so cheap. I lost a few cause they fell in the sand but it had nothing to do with his quality of frag, everything came over 1" and some were mounted and some were not. I was extremely happy with him. I am just saying that i am going to order some and if any one wanted in on the order you could join me and i could have them in my tank until you wanted to get them. I bought and lps colony from him and i still have it and love it. I also would say i have around 15 of the frags and they are doing good even though they have been being mistreated. I just feel it is a solid deal there.

actually i just checked and it is 20 for 175 and no shipping, that is less than 10 a frag which is pretty much unheard of for wyswig. It is not like they were lame sps either, it had a blue tips, birds nests, shelving monti, and list goes on. I was happy with him.

Let's wait till Swan gets her taxes then. I'm game for another sealife order. I don't blame them. It was really too cold to be ordering live critters when we did.

all i am saying is that my stuff arrived alive and was a great price. I am ordering regardless and just thought i would mention it. If you are ordering over a 175 dollars you can just order it yourself cause it is free shipping and there is no need to put it through the stress of two moves. But if someone wants less than that and wants free shipping you are welcome to jump on board with me, but when i order is when i order.

Did something happen to your order?? I bought some SPS corals from a guy in southern Alabama and they were shipped Fed Ex overnight. Everything lived and all are doing well. You need to buy from someone that knows how to ship items in any climate. This guy obviously did. But you are right when you say sometimes it is too cold to ship things. Gotta wait till summer!

you have to use black fish bags, 36 hour heat packs, tripple bagged, and usually bubble wrap and have them ship late in afternoon and you need to get a way to pick it up and not wait for a truck to deliver. It is the best way to gurantee alive arrival, most stores gurantee shipping.

it is just easiest way to gurantee healthy arrival no matter what the temp. is outside.

They have mantis shrimp too, incase anyone wanted to know-I'm setting up a tank in my kids room to see if the spearers can eat my mollies
(stupid things-too aggressive for the firefish!!!)
So, if people want to start working on lists, I really want to order, like, NOW, but I thought I'd post that I want to order.. ya know how it is... The order would probably get here next week.

I do but I'm too poor, I saw your post about a possible mantis tank, I love those yellow cilitia but they get too big for my nano, James is waiting on a really nice wennerae or viridis from Stomatopod.com for it instead.
