I always wanted to try Tampa Bay Saltwater live rock and I finally had the chance. I emailed Richard a few times on Friday, and that evening I placed my order for a 40g Package. I have a 150g Display tank but only wanted ~100lbs of rock.
Richard woke me up Saturday morning to let me know that if I wanted I could pick up my order that evening. I was shocked considering I am half way across the Country in Southern California. He shipped it off and that very same night after a few hour delay at the Cargo pickup and a very very long night I had my package!!! My tank was already setup so I got everything in 1 shipment. Freight cost was ~ 1.05/lb for anyone that wanted to know.
Richard packs his rock, sand, and critters amazingly! No leaks or drips from any of the boxes and everything was bagged in very thick bags, and then re bagged about 5 times!!!
I got 4 boxes of rock, 1 box of sand, and 1 box of critters! I got sponges, gorgonians, some aquatic plants, some zoas, and crabs, snails, some starfish and more! I already caught 1 mantis shrimp too, I was lucky to catch him before I very large sized piece of rock into the tank!
Overall I am VERY VERY VERY satisfied with my purchase. I have used Marco Rocks before and loved them but their is NOTHING like Real Live Rock. They are full of life and its amazing looking into the tank and seeing all the different things on the rocks and what came off of them!
Thanks Richard! I will definitely use your rock for all my future aquariums!
