Another LFS for sale?

Is there still a LFS in the Pacific Rim Plaza on Hostetter and Lundy? I think they opened in the mid '90's.

I believe this place was next to Chef Minh in 99 ranch. They closed many years ago. IMO, I don't think any fish store worth 130k, maybe Dolphin or AG in the SouthBay. If I have 130k, I probably franchise Tapioca Express.

Yes, Karl's House of Crack and Critters. :)

I'd buy it.

Nah, I'd open a sportswear store, and use this pic for marketing:

Enjoy the segue:p

from reading that post, i believe it's brian's fish world. brian used to work for trop aquarium on blossom hill road long ago before he opened up his own place in 1993-or was it 1994. That shopping center has a panda express, well fargo, and 76 gas station. he also right next to game stop and my friends cell phone store. Brian i think does have over 100 tanks but most of them are small 10 gallon fresh water. i could be wrong.

I knew eventually Ms. Stokke would appear on the forums of oversexed fish nerds.

I guess my brother graduated over 20 years too early from Cal. Not like he would have ever had a chance with her...

YEP, i believe it was Brians as well, I received a call today from my brother about the store... turns out a couple the he knows is looking into buying it... he wanted to know if i knew about the store or if it turns a profit..
CFSB...
pretty high price tag though..

Profit in the Aquarium Industry? There is a reason that stores are closing/being sold.

Any store interested in selling would be better off liquidating the store and walking away.

Tough business to get ahead, and I pitty new stores attempting to open.

and they were talking a lot of crap about how Amazon Pets has less inventory than them in their advertisement? Thats a load of crap. Ken has way more inventory than Brians..........

Get your story straight bud...
here is what was said:

Not even close. Ken is not selling his place, and he doesn't have that many tanks either.

How many tanks does Ken Have??? Appropriately less than 30 tanks. The advertisement says 130 tanks. How is it a load of crap when Amazon Pets has less than 130 tanks? Can you explain that?

what i meant to say was that the advertisement was boasting about how Ken has less inventory than Brians......which by allo means is wrong. Ken has way more water volume and tanks than Brians

some one said that Brians has about 130 - 10 gallons maybe.....thats probably them....Panda Xpress, 76 gas.....its just weird how the advertisement meantioned the competition and said that the competition had less inventory....Ken has way more inventory than Brians flat out.

are you referring to Max's soon to be The Aquarium Showroom?

Most likely not as retial isn't the sole driving force of Max's business. Service is his golden ticket and that show room will for sure boost that sector for him.

No not directed at Max. Its the stores that dont diversify that will have a hard time. Max knows what he's doing, he will do really well with his new store. I totally agree with Gresh too!
