Another lighting question

Will macros do well with a 20K bulb or do I need to use lower wavelengths. Wanted to keep clams in my fuge and have an extra MH 20K bulb/reflector.

I've read that some Halimeda comes from deepwater regions, in that case 20K lighting would be cool I'd think.
