I have a 58 Oceanic RR tank. Pump is a Mag 5. I use a 20H for a sump filled about 3/4 full. I am getting micro bubbles coming from my return. I use a filter sock in my sump so I know that the bubbles are not being created in the sump and sent to the display. I thought that maybe it was my pump so I ordered a 2nd pump (Via Aqua) and I get the same tiny micro bubbles as with the Mag 5. Where could they be coming from?

Filter socks don't cure all microbubbles so some could still be getting through. Also reseal all your plumbing joints on the return line as air might be getting in that way.
I'm having a microbubble issue at the moment and most are caused when the drains hit the sump. I'm dealing with that in a different way though.

Get plastic mesh or pool skimmer baskets. My skimmer returns into a pool skimmer basket. No micro bubbles. You can also use them for your drains. I have also used that mesh they use in knitting to keep the micro bubbles in check.
