Quick background.
105g SPS dominant tank
29g Softy/LPS attached
10g Frag attached
55g Sump
Large skimmer
Bio pellets
GFO reactor
Large Fuge
Carbon passively

Have always used RS Blue salt, and dosing pumps for Alk/Ca/Mg to maintain levels. Always shoot for 8.1/420/1350. Also have doser for acropower every night.

System is about 3 years mature now.

Now to the AF products.
Here tomorrow will be:
AF Probio S
AF Coral Food Powdery
AF Ricco Food Powdery
AF Coral A
AF Coral F
AF Coral E
AF Coral V
AF Garlic Oil
AF Fish V

Last week I also began 15% WCs with the ProBiotic Reef Salt and will continue once a week. Now I am trying to figure out if I need anything else for now, and in my readings read I could continue the Bio Pellets with the Probio S - Is this correct? Do I need to run AF NP Pro as well, bit confused there.

Any other suggestions?
Thanks

Hello,
Thank You for Your question. We would like to help.
For now if You are using Bio Pellets there is no need to use -NP Pro for that moment.
But You should use Pro Bio S for NO3 and PO4 Reduction.

Your plan for products is great. We recommend to start from the mid-dose of each additive and observe corals appearance.
The dosage of each supplement depends on the number and the size of corals in the aquarium and their food consumption.

Thanks. Really can't believe the difference already from just a few water changes, and a few days of food supplements.

Ok, more questions.

I see being that the salt is synthetic, it's missing many trace elements and metals correct?

Further to this, I see your Components 1,2, & 3 contain some additional elements and minerals. My question specifically is, I picked up your Micro E and your Reef Mineral Salt. Are these two products redundant to the Components 1, 2, & 3, or are to be used in conjunction with. I don't plan on switching from my ESV 3 part as of yet, and I am trying to figure out what exactly would be recommended for me. Are the Micro E and Reef Mineral Salt products a good compliment to the Probiotic Reef Salt while not using the Components 1, 2 & 3.

Your insight and help are appreciated. Thanks

Ok, I have it figured out.

Please correct me if wrong.
Use AF Probiotic Reef Salt
Use my own 3 part for Alk, Ca, and Mg replenishment
Use AF Components A, B, and C.

AF Mineral salts and/or Micro E not needed as Component B has the metals?

Hi,
AF Reef Mineral Salt is part of Balling Methode with Calcium, Magnesium and Kh Buffer.

You Can choose way to dose Microelements to Your Tank.
It could be:
Micro E, Iodum, Kalium, Fluorine, Iron, Strontium

or

Component A, Component B, Component C

Yup, once I took the time to read the catalogs, it all became clear. Thanks for an awesome program. Loving what I'm seeing out of the corals already!

So I'm going to do something similar and use BRS 2 part. In that case I would use the A, B, C as well? Tank looks awesome Tweaked!

The Component ABC is a great compliment to the salt. It's a weekly dose for trace and metals etc.
So are you dosing independently of your 3 part or are you adding it to the solutions (not sure if this can be done or which ones you would add them to)?

If not, are you just dosing 1x/week?

I want to try to get some of the Maganese into my system to help control Cyano but doing it via the Component ABC may be simpler for me.

Yes still dosing my own Alk,Ca, and Mg every hour via dosers and A,B,C once a week in the WC buckets.

For reference, you can also make your own Component 1,2,3 for balling method.

CONTAINER 1:
Aquaforest Calcium - Dissolve 50g in 1000ml of deionized water
Aquaforest Magnesium - Add 10g
Component A Strong - Add 5ml
Component B Strong - Add 5ml

CONTAINER 2:
Aquaforest KH Buffer - Dissolve 80g in 1000ml of deionized water
Component C Strong - Add 5ml

CONTAINER 3:
Aquaforest Reef Mineral Salt - Dissolve 25g in 1000ml of deionized water
Component K Strong - Add 5ml

Thanks Tweaked makes sense. If I dose containers one and two via automated dosers daily and then hand dose container 3 once/week on the weekends do you think that would be okay or is it too much of a shock?

Cheaper to do so?
