I decide to go will all PVC. I used 3/4th of an inch, which was the outlet on my mag 12.
I have it already glued and ready to go.
I was wondering, is it advisable to put some primer and glue on the outside of all joints to make sure they are sealed?

or is there anthing else I should put on the outside of the pvc joints to make sure there are no water leaks?
thanks, mike

As long as you sanded the joints prior to primering & glueing, there's no need to put any glue on the exterior................PVC glue works very well!!!

Where can you get Christy's Red Hot Blue Glue? Is it mainly for PVC or multi use? This is my first time hear about this glue.

Lowe's has it, I just bought some there this past weekend. I to will be hard-piping my new 40RR next weekend. I need to finish the stand this week first to start setup. Primer is ONLY needed if you where doing work that code stated that primer must be used. Read the label.
Follow the directions.

I used the classic primer and glue and had no leaks at all...Worked fine...Im not sure you would want to put some on the outside....

NO glue on the outside. If you want to go that extra mile, use a little silicone, but if your joints are flush, you shouldn't need it.
