Another Scoly Rescue, what do you think?

Was at the LFS yesterday and the owner ended up giving me this little guy to see if I could nurse it back to health. Its in a Low flow, Low light area. I run 20K SE bulb on this tank. Later should I move it to a better lit spot? Also what are its chances of coming back?

Thanks in advance

Well not real sure. This is my first Scoly. That being said their are tentacles that come out in the mouth area during feeding? Their not real long but defiantly their. Was thinking of the bottle trick for feeding? For the most part what's alive looks good. What do you think?

Looks like it should make it. The recession is old, it's inflating, and the mouth looks like it has already healed. Just feed it a few times a week, and it should start growing in no time.

Yes they do have tentacles that extend out from around the mouth area. Ive only been working with them for a couple months now so maybe someone with more experience can chime in, but I would assume if the tentacles are out and it is trying to feed its a good sign.

If the mouth is damaged I would think a little more light may not be a bad thing as they are photosynthetic and any extra energy it can get should help it along, especially if its mouth is damaged to the extent where it cant effectively feed.

Little update, been a little over a month. It's starting to get its shape back (round). :)

Not the best pictures but you'll see the progress.

Lights out, no flash/Flash....

Thanks guy's.....

To be honest all I did was place it in a low flow area and target feed (as I do all my corals). Another month and it should be full healed.

Looks a lot like my acan that was stung pretty badly. About 1/5 of it was left. I fed it a couple times a week with meat pellets and over the last month or so its almost full again! I still dont understand how it ets when its mostly dead. crazy..

I had mine in a low flow, low traffic, low light section for a few weeks then when I started seeing feeding tentacles and it looking stronger, I moved it to normal flow and light levels.
