Alright, I'm in the market for a new skimmer and I have the chance to get a Reeflo Orca 250 with no upgrades or a Super Reef Octopus 3000 external. Just trying to weigh out the pro's and con's of having either. I will be getting them both for about the same price

Reeflo Orca $550
Watt Draw: 120 watts
System Capability (gallons): 200 - 800
Air Flow: 1,950 liters per hour
Recommended Water Flow: 400-600 gph
Footprint: 16" x 20"
Diameter: 11.8"
Height: 32"

SRO 3000ext $575
Super Reef Octopus 3000 External
Includes Bubble Blaster HY3000 pump
Rated up to 400 gal. Air intake: scfh
Dimensions: 16.5" x 13.75" x 26.75"
8" Diameter

System will be 325 total gallons with heavy bioload and lots of feeding.

there are tons of posts to prove that the Orca is also, plus has tons of room for grow if/when I expand to a larger system.

Orca 250 and absolutely love it. By far the best skimmer for the buck right now considering you are getting a $1500 skimmmer for $5-600. I'm already planning my upgrade to a 400 gallon display/700 total system which I will be transferring the Orca onto next.
