Another stocking question

I have a 72 gallon bow front, 30 gallon sump, 90ish lb rock. All LPS and softies and there is a RBTA that recently split.

Question on my fish. Currently in the tank
2 ocellaris clowns
1 one spot fox face
1 yellow eye Kole tang
1 neon dottyback
1 diamond watchman goby

I added a royal gramma and a yellow watchman goby about a month ago haven't seen them since the first day. Presumed dead at this point. I'm sure the shrimp ate the bodies.

All the other fish are doing good. Am I done or could I add 1-2 more small fish. Would like the royal gramma and the yellow goby too but it's not the end of the world if I'm done.

Thanks for any advice

Maybe some sort of planktivore like a chromis? You have a dottyback in the tank already, and since it's not an orchid, I'm assuming it's going to be aggressive towards whatever other fish you add. I don't think a gramma would survive vs. a neon dottyback. The goby might survive, since it has a different living style than the diamond watchman. I'd proceed with caution.

Take a look at the Golden Midas Blenny. Mine has become my favorite fish. Live Aquaria has them on sale too.

The golden blenny looks good.

I planned on the dottyback and tang to be last but a lfs had them on sale. Oh well

Purple tilefish are awesome, they don't come
Around very often though. From what I have read, people normally get them in groups. Don't know how they would do on their own, not saying by any means they can't be kept singly.

The dotty back will limit future tankmates though. Nasty little buggers. Try and acclimation box. I get a critter keeper from walmart( small plastic container with vented plastic lid) and use magnets to attach it to the tank glass. I drilled holes in mine and use the lid for jumpers. They can see each other but don't have access. Can help reduce initial aggression

Sounds like a good idea. I'll just keep an eye on my LFSs and see if one pops up.

Yeah. I'd rather not order one when there's 4 decent stores within an hour of me. Hopefully they get some in stock some time. I know at least one will order it for me. But I'll wait.

If you wanted to do firefish I would have added them first. I think you will have some major problems with the dotty back with these.

Do you think moving the dottyback into my QT once the fire fish go in would work? Then reintroduce the dottyback later. I knew the dottyback was aggressive but it was a impulse buy. Too late now.

That very well could work. Do you have the tang currwntly? I'm basing this on memory and I thought you said you had a kole?

Then if you want firefish or tile fish, I would catch the neon and put him in qt for a few weeks so they can get acclimated
