Another Tang question

I'm setting up a new tank and would like to add a Purple Tang. I have a 4-5" Lavender Tang now who I would like to keep. Can i keep both fish in a 190G tank?(48"X36"x25") If so which one should i add first? Thanks in advance.

I would add the lavender first. I think the purple tang can be a bit more territorial and aggresive. Good luck.

Agreed. Lavender first, then purple. But, I wouldn't wait too long to intro the purple. Lavender's are still in the Acanthurus genus.

Just curious...what you mean by that? Do you think they can still be aggressive?

Depends on the fish, but a lot of Acanthurus tangs are aggressive. I don't particularly believe the Lavender is a very aggressive species. However, I wouldn't let it get too comfortable before introducing the Purple.
