Another Tank Move!?!

Well.. It's seems to be all the rage lately!

Is anyone available to help me move my 240g in to my basement?

After thinking about it for a bit, I don't think it is going to be too horrible.

If someone has a dolly, we can wheel it over to the Bilco Doors for my basement and possibly slide it down the stairs... In theory this could work.. If it does it shouldn't be that bad...Just remember I said "In theory" lol

I was hoping to do it by this weekend.

I think 3 guys should be able to do it. I will supply, lunch or breakfast.. beer or coffee... whatever time is easiest for everyone.

I'm gonna be making the same post/plea in 2 or 3 weeks when I bring home my 225. It also has to go down to my basement.

If anyone can do it Thursday night, that would be cool. But that's not a big deal... Saturday would be probably be ideal.

I guess I should mention I am in South plainfield.

Let's see who else jumps in here... and then we can set a firm date and time.

be very careful, if that is a 240 glass, it is going to be very heavy and will probably want to pick up speed going down the stairs. I am not much of a physics guy but I do know that walking backwards down a driveway carrying something down the hill is brutal!

i can probably help- ya out on thursday night, but i dont get off work till 5, home by 5:30, your house (maybe 7ish) dont know south plainfield at all, but i can read a map, next weekend is no good for me(work) but if you wanted to wait, i am available the weekend after next

Saturday works for me. My preference would be early if possible.
