I read somewhere (MD website) that Lyrtails are a lower light fish and Disbars are a higher light fish and truth to this in a reef setup with MH lighting.
I have both and find just the opposite..my lyretails are out more...as soon as there is any light in the tank they are out. The dispars tend to hide alittle more.... also the females tend to stay together while the males are loners...
Considering both are found in as little as 2' of water... something tells me that source needs a factcheck both are fine under as much light as you can throw at them.

If snorvich already answered the question, that covers it. MD hasn't sold fish in years, check LA. Both are fine in reefs. (In some areas, they both are caught wading castnetters and used as bait.)
