I'd say P. pulcherrimus. I have 3 male P. randalli and something doesn't look quite the same on that guy. Maybe it's the yellow in the ventral fin...don't have any references on me right now.

Hi Jacob! Both species are relatively common on wholesaler stock lists. The females are actually pretty boring looking...but feed them well, wait a few months, and look out!

P. pulcherrimus. and P. randalli are pretty similar except for the colorful dorsal, correct? I would go with 5 randalli males. How have they been doing for you Matt. pics?
 
Hey Matt. Yeah, you never see them around (online/lfs). I'll have to place an order I guess... hey wait! I know someone who has at least a couple more males than he needs! ;)

By the way, the one in the pic looks to have internal parasites (white stringy feces), which I guess isn't shocking.
